I'm happy that I found out about this. I stay away from Instagram for it tends to leave me paralized often. But I'm looking forward to hearing about your processes here as I'm also a musician and a parent and on the search for a good way forward.
Looking forward to your thoughts. I'm certainly reeling from everything that's going on, and have been surprised by how intimidated and despondent it's made me. I was encouraged by your comments though, so keep them coming! And of course I've enjoyed your playing so much for many years, so looking forward to music-related stuff as well!
Yes, I prefer to play the piano rather than “be” a pianist — I’m wary of identifying too much with any one particular role I play, especially the one I’ve built a career around.
Great to find you in this place, seems like the only one to fulfill your endeavor. Personally I look forward to the chance of being able to ask you about your creative process. Greatings from Argentina.

Looking forward to reading more!
Cheers, Aaron!
You describe yourself as a “piano player”…..not as a “pianist”.
I like that. Let’s just play. It’s a good word.

I am not what I do. I am what I am.
It’s an interesting reflection on how one judges a person. He is a lawyer, she is a doctor, he is a bricklayer…..
So happy you’re here!
Aaron your music has given me a lot of joy and comfort over the years, and it’s great to hear your thoughtful words too. Thank you.
